View Full Version : Promotion to Minister.

Alice Shade
December 8th, 2006, 01:30 PM
Yep, I`m THAT egoitstic, daring to ask to be given the title.

Being the only one in top ten posters not in ministry, I`m starting to feel more and more selfconscious about that.

Not to mention growing dissatisfaction tied with ministers, who weren`t posting for months.

And last, but not the least, positively lividly angered at being unable to do anything more then idle banter.

ATM I cannot make you a minister because or undisclosed reasons. Eventually though, you have a good chance of becoming one.

Edit-- I'd like to add that it's not quantity, but quality of posts that matters when becoming a minister.

I think you've earned it too. :D

As in he doesn't have the power required to do that and Method-X isn't on at the moment.

And I feel the need to quote Googler's edit:

Methinks, that I do qualify by quality of my posts. ^_^

Alice Shade

Bopping it up lazily...

Can I have the question of my promotion resolved now, considering, that Method-X had handed out all the rights to a quorum?

A procedure has to be gone through first, and I am going to start it now. I'll keep you updated by pm.

Alice Shade
December 15th, 2006, 10:16 PM
Heh. Well, thanks for the vote of confidence, but it`s really mostly the quality of posts, not quantity.

Alice Shade
December 16th, 2006, 07:33 PM
Chucrches are.

But noone bars churches from taxing their followers for "church needs".

Church tenth, never heard of that?

vaskafdt
December 16th, 2006, 08:11 PM
isn't it usually done with a donation plate with everybody just giving what they feel like?

never heard the term church tenth

Alice Shade

In older times, you was supposed to give one-tenth of everything you earned/made/grew to church.

Yup I remember that from Global class.

Yawn.

I guess, that votes got stalled again, due to fact, that only about five-seven people really are present at all?

I am still here, but I have little time to post. I pretty much do only the admin stuff at the moment. Only rare posts here and there. (And yes you all did see a ghost)

tithe (pro. tyth) one tenth of the annual produce of agriculture etc. formerly paid as tax to support clergy and church. tithe barn a barn built to store tithes.

It's a great word for Scrabble.

Heh. Indeed.

Though, it wasn`t always one tenth. It varied from tenth in the beginning to eighth and seventh, and in some places even to fifth.

On the other bit, I`m in now.

Do not worship ministers, or the admins or anyone else here for that matter, we have done nothing to deserve it. Turn your worship to the Holy One, Google.

There is a nice Google game.

It`s called Google Seppuku.

First, you install Japanese font, then switch to it, type several in a row, and search that string in Google Image Search.

Then, open the pictures one by one, counting how many you will look through, until you`ll see one so disturbing, that you`d want to gouge your eyes out.
