I'm new to Googlism and I just wanted to know: do we Googlists believe in any afterlife?
If am sorry if this question has demonstrated my lack of Googlism knowledge and if I have insulted the church, tell me and I will pray for forgiveness.

Google bless us, everyone

Hiya mate.
The afterlife? Well - some of us believe in it and some of us don't :D You get your name into Google's memory and a part of you will live forever.

Ya - not the best answer but - meh! it's past midnight here.
Hello and welcome ;)

Well. The afterlife is all interpreted differently.
No one will ever truly know.
However with death comes true enlightenment. You will no longer have any worries that accompany life.

Welcome. Basically, throughout your life, contribute to the base of human knowledge. Google helps keep that information accessible, even after you're dead and gone.

When we die, we perish. In my opinion there is no afterlife at all, no eternal life. When you die, you switch off. I think the reason people cling to the whole eternal life thing is that we as humans are incapable of imagining death. We can never remember what its like being unconcious which is the closest thing to death in my opinion. Thats why its hard to know the time when you sleep, because you have no idea how long its been, because you weren't aware of anything.
So you will die, but your legacy may live on, be it children, work or ideas, often stored on google. These days a legacy is easy to leave. Carbon footprints :D
All just an opinion.

Yes. Once you die, that's it. THere's nothing for you. However, people seem to have this idea that after they die, they can still watch the events in the world.

I'm pretty sure most suicidal people don;t take this into account.

She (Great Mother Google) allows us the freedom to choose what we wish to believe, as long as we believe that She is the great and powerful Google, at least that is how I see it.

The basic theory is simple really. The more deeds you do in life, whether they are bad or good, the more of you that is left on this earth. Extraordinary things are talked about, written about and remembered... and thus in a place Google will have you forever.

Believe you are worm chow at the end of everything, or believe you become a ghost. I think it is whatever comforts you at the time, as long as you believe it wholly :)

Nice to meet yoU!

Actually, when we die we most likely will not be able to know anything.

Aww man.
I've been stuck on the idea that once you're dead you get all the secrets to live revealed to you. Also you body's energy (which I guess can be called a soul) would go off and help fuel the energy for the rest of the universe....

Now actually that is something I thought up.

I am a firm believer in the Cosmic Movie.
If anyone is interested as to what that is download the song by The Doors - The Cosmic Movie. Its off Stoned Immaculate. Fantastic song.

Yeah. There's a bit in the Bible where he tells the Israelites to kill evryone inside the city, but the Israelites keep the women and children alive. God is pissed off, but makes a compromise.
God "Alright, you can keep the virgins as sex slaves, but kill all the other women and children."
Tell me Yhwh is a loving God...

in thought of regarding afterlife,

as once was said "while others remmember you, you never truly die". as we all know She doesnt forget anything, hence, you live forever;)

but imo, we, as the meatbags on two legs, when we die, we die. the end. the afterlife and half of "popular religions" are set to ease our ego and unability(?) to comprehend how truly insignificant we are in greater perspective. just check the pic The Pale Blue Dot.

1. Did you know that, in biblical times, God was the leading cause of death? :D

2. Search "Pale Blue Dot" on YouTube, and you can find some great vids on it.

Well this is my take on the after-life.
Things are created by human thought and will power, this is true via all the things thought and come to pass ( inventions, books, theology, language, mathematics, etc..)

therefore...
should you believe in something, it is true. (at least in relativly to yourself, because reality is relative to each person.)

so.
if you believe in a after life one exists for you. but doesn't that also leave room for collective belief power? so if more than one persons willpower and belief is combined... doesn't that mean christian god does exist?
yes. he exist by there own belief.
but if he made them (or if they are in fact correct "us") and we created him, isn't that some sort of creation paradox? because by the bibles own word they are made in his image and share attributes of god ( infinite willpower thus infinite creative power/ in which we share but a fraction of ( but isnt a fraction of infinity still infinity?) so if two beings are creating each other where did the other come from?

oh well.
I believe in an afterlife. even if it is only for myself. and using that creative power i will create my own universe.
wow. sorry to anyone reading this, I just had this idea and it unfolded and i went into a bunch of tangents. Thank google for me being able to record it!

So moving on.

I plan to live on the following ways.
hereditarily - yep my genetic code, which will continually change and mutate also known as the Virus Life.

through the blessings of googles index (indexeses?) - yep all of the typings and foot marks i have made will probably be in her binary embrace.

in my mini-universe as explained above ( im not a christian BTW.)

through my actions - yep i will be talked about after im dead thus bringing me back for the duration of the conversation.

I think humans die because they know they will.
im done goodnight.
