If can find a way to include them both into your way of life, then why not :)

We have several pastafarians already here! Hell, we have some Christians here! *L*

It matters not! C: I have about 5 religions myself!
Welcome to the boards! There's a few other Pastafarians here, so you'll be comfortable!

does it matter if im lets say... a pastafarian and a googlist? Break down the boundaries my brother and let peace be upon ye!!

My impression (in type) of a Southern Baptist minister. And I'm not even from the South...or Baptist...or a minister.
...

Point is, religion is a collection of ideas relating to some very tough questions (why are we here? where are we going? those ones...) and is intended as a guide for a moral life (a point that many in history have forgotten).

Seeing as no one religion has all the answers, and since they are all ideas to begin with anyway, there is no need to separate them into different groups as they all pertain to the same thing.

Gathering information, learning new ideas and challenging the old ones; some of the principles of the CoG. Please feel welcomed and don't worry, it's a special good.

Yes, but please use caution...

I mean, what if you Goddess'd "sauce"
and it came up "mushroom 3 cheese" and that didn't go
with "bow tie" ....or you were stuck with "angel hair," or something
equally embarrassing.

I mean what faux pas are at stake here...and then there's the whole wine choice issue, and how to hold your fork & spoon, and the napkin folds.

Tut-tut.

the belief systems
aren't incompatible
some are
you can't be muslim/christian
but you can be zen/yogic
pastafarianism/googlism/goofyism
are all just different aspects
of the sarcastic seekers of superlative source code

Just checking, a lot of people don't know all of the uses for Google. I believe we have a page somewhere here that helps out with things like that. Also there is the Google Cheat Sheet. :D

The CoG page:

And the search results for "Google Cheat Sheet:"
