Hi, I forgot to make a hello thread for my new (and only)
user ID here, major league.

MLS for short. Still keeping the soccer theme, but, I also thought it could stand for major league softball, or major league baseball, two of my favorite sports.

Anywho, hi, I'm Meghan, but I go by many names, even ocassionally called M., megs, margot, maggie, magpie, ms, mm, ml, megan, meg, margaret, marge, and others.

You can just call me baby, I'll probably answer.

Last name is a secret. I'm a spy for the left-wing intellectual theosophical "national socialists" society. My middle name, only god & google knows for sure.

For all other info, you can PM me, or visit my website and surf around a little for the facts, ma'am: artist, curator, videographer, healer, writer, actress, host, journalist.

I live in LBC, LA county in CA, near disneyland, knott's berry farm, and the queen mary. It is my hometown and we are crunk-a-del-i-cious.

Anyway, Hi-ss!

Oh, yeah, someone decided to nickname me SS. I'm going with it until further notice, I assume it is because I am of german-irish-english aryan descent, a natural blonde wasp of sorts...but, don't let the nick fool you, I am 1000% in favor of multi-culturalism, femi-nazism, judaism, black pantherisms, humanism, jesus...and all funnsies. hit me up, cha'll.

My former handles all got killed, because I am such a troll (http://eatourbrains.com/EoB/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/troll.jpg), but they were: soccerstarr, devilwearsgucci, soccerdevil, and guccistar. There were a whole bunch more, but...they are dead now. Oh yeah...you can feed me, I do work for food, but only if it's non-rBST, vegan, dolphin safe, organically grown and certifiable.

No, I'm not a f-ing earth-mother hippy, bitch. I am boho, indie, hipster, yogi, alt/emo, punk rock, conceptual pop, postmodern artist. There's a huge difference.

I wouldn't be caught dead (http://www.owenbloggers.com/tyler/WindowsLiveWriter/OwenBloggersSummerAdviceDressCodeandClas_D546/image%7B0%7D_thumb%5B1%5D.png) in your VW bus (http://members.aol.com/commongear/TimesGEBusB10.jpg) in a tie-dyed muumuu (http://www.gamerevolution.com/images/misc/Image/homer_mumu.jpg).

**We're of the black turtleneck, modern dancing, painting in a cave, listening to Velvet Underground, while bemoaning the loss of our former selves (http://books.google.com/books?id=xB-niCZQ2SEC&dq=francis+bacon+loss+of+the+self&pg=PP1&ots=2fwl8d_iZr&sig=KbAYSc4NCcACUxqzBjSI-763rCg&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=4&ct=result#PPP1,M1) variety. You know, fucking high minded, intellectual, parisian left bank, artsy-fartsy, suicidal tendency, black eyeliner, tight pants, army navy supply gear, work boots, oversized pea coat, bomber jacket, dark, haunting, egotistical, narcissistic whining about society and why we never get a fair shot types.

U dig? *snap-snap*

We read books, make fine art and create shit. What I mean is we're cynical, romantic, depressed, brooding, pipe-dreaming, sky-gazing, embittered, poverty-conscious, dweebs who dye their hair, wear too much lipliner, and never quite got over that whole 1975 psychadelic art thing.

Hey, lil' brother, you don't talk so much.

And speaking of talking or typing or texting...

I don't feel well these days and neither does the elder I care for. Maybe we are down with a bug of some kind. I do want to continue with the posting for the 7th Coming until Dec. 7th, I believe, then after a short break I will resume somewhere different, yet related with Aces Wild. Just an advance tip, 7th was Google & Marilyn Manson, and Aces Wild is another forum and Eminem. w00t.

Anyhow, i've been really sleeping an unusual amount lately and feel that my health comes first. Additionally, I have to go back to a day job any day now, ugh! :icon_rolleyes: But will be able to post from my phone, when it's up again.

I liked not really knowing what this was all going to be about and then being distracted and thrown off a bit and then coming back to my original intention. If you are not yet on my Facebook, please add me there so we can rap about the Aces and many other things.

A break might be in order...we'll see how it goes in the next couple of days.

questions for stoners:

1) need a convincing argument for glaucoma, med mj articles that suggest that the feds are wrong would help. also, what proof that it would help someone lower eye pressure.
2) what kind of weed, if i want to purchase on street instead of from a distributor. which variety is most mellow and non-trippy that would suit a 70 year old. make her happy, mellow, less angry, more ok with the world.
3) how much is it these days? what's the max to pay?
4) if she doesn't smoke, then how do i administer it to her? she has said brownies. any recipes?
5) today she balked when i suggested it, but she is so blind and can barely drive and has this allergic skin reaction and stomach flu..i thought, why wouldn't she try it? she only said that "the feds wont approve it" is why she doesn't want to have an illegal thing in the house. i said it wouldn't be illegal (with a card) in CA. she didn't care.
6) i am taking some of her driving and other activities away to prevent her from killing someone on the street. she is a bit upset by my laying this down.

anyway...discuss in the appropriate thread and i'll respond there, too.

thnx.

As for the ad, it's very nice, and i'm kind of thinking that i'm going to need to upgrade soon too. a laptop would be nice. what programs are you using on your imac?

AK47, White Widow, Blueberry Haze or Super Skunk. They're all pretty mild :D
For real mellow I'd try to get hold of some resin. Afghani Black, Red Leb or similar - not easy to find these days. I've not seen any decent Black for 10 years here.

3) how much is it these days? what's the max to pay?
About $300 an ounce I'd guess - for the normal stuff anyway.

Defiantly go with the higher grade. No brick weed.

Depends, the better quality of bud and the higher the quantity the higher the prices.

4) if she doesn't smoke, then how do i administer it to her? she has said brownies. any recipes?

Well you can always vape it, or just bake it. Melt butter, grind up the reefer and put it in the melted butter. Let it become a solid again, the THC will cling to the fatty cells of the butter. Then feel free to bake with your cannabutter. :D

6) i am taking some of her driving and other activities away to prevent her from killing someone on the street. she is a bit upset by my laying this down.

The one thing that elderly people really hate is having their autonomy/independence taken away from them. Maybe she would try it if she thought med marijuana could help her keep some of that independence.

NORML (http://norml.org/) would be a good place to start for real (not propaganda) information.

Brownies and tea (even better) made from marijuana is good for people who don't smoke, the snag being that it takes alot of product to make which is not practical at today's street prices. Speaking of which, the street is NOT a good place to get it. Unless you know the supplier really well, chances are you'd be paying through the nose for inferior product, not to mention what else they are putting in the stuff these days! AND not to mention encouraging the bad guys in all this, the pushers, man!
Start networking and I think you'll find there are alot of Samaritans growing to supply sufferers with pure, high grade product. They could probably give you the answers you seek. They don't advertise though, so you'll have to do some sleuthing.

Here is a really good article from The New Yorker on that subject (http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2008/07/28/080728fa_fact_samuels).

Good luck!

I'm sure a similar organisation for glaucoma exists in the USA. If not you could always start one :D

If you make tea out of it, you need to add milk with fat in it. That way the THC has something to cling to so you can digest it.

Yeah, I'll have to remember the milk. I don't normally have any of that around. Just soy delicious. I was going to go to a club last night, but it was raining here so I just decided to forgo the trip to LA and stayed inside where it's safe. Traffic screams.

Soy does taste and act differently when added to tea and coffee than cow's milk, but when you get used to the differences, it can become just as comforting as a milk replacement in all recipes... including hash tea. Yes, it has fat, though you can get it fat-free, too.

Try it with your muffins & cakes:

In other news, I nearly died when someone said this:

"You almost act as if technology is God!"

If they only knew.

I served on a panel today at my school and debated technology's role in the classroom. I discovered a deep Luddite culture in the faculty I never knew existed. :(

In other news, I nearly died when someone said this:

"You almost act as if technology is God!"

You should have ripped open your shirt to expose the Google logo you have on your chest just as the debate finished.

...and become Googlism's first martyr at the hands of the faculty?

Well, maybe I wouldn't be harmed, but my grades at least would see a downtick.

Hey, I'd like to have help from any kind souls who would care to bump some favorite old threads from my time on here. Some I worked very hard to produce and do considerate it part of My Movement - "Then Google is 7."

If you remember any threads or memorable posts that you'd like to place into a newer thread or merge with one of my Sailor7Sure threads, please do help out with this.

I'm trying to make it easier to find the deleted ones. I don't understand still why this happened, but I'm trying to make the best of it.

Maybe the people who complained can help me find and bump threads...it's for posterity (art history, etc...)

Thanks.

Meg

Maybe they rethought that idea a bit more, now that they've had some time to ponder it more.
