One of the SimCities?

An older one, I can only assume. Pre-2000.

Nope not a simcity. Think grander in scale.

Since I'm pretty sure this died, I'll attempt to revive it.

I don't expect this to last very long, you CoG guys seem to know quality games when you see them ;)

EDIT: Ignore the jaggies, this was on an old AGP Geforce 6600 rig.

The first picture looks a lot like Freelancer, but it's been a long while since I played it. Edit: and of course the latest is Half-Life or some derivitive. I don't remember that truck down there in HL2, so maybe one of the Episodes I haven't played yet? Still, it's been a while since I played through HL2. And you could have showed me the lower-left corner of the screen and I would have still guessed HL2. I don't know of any other game with health/armor indicators quite like HL. I still hear the weird sounds of health/energy chargers from HL1 sometimes, and that picture definitely did it. :)

Yeah, I remember the buggy, and I'm pretty sure there's a combine umm, gunship thingy, that tries to kill you through there. That's also one of the places where you get to see the physics of the power lines waving in the wind. But it's been 4 years since I played that part. (Haven't bothered getting the hovercraft level to work right still.)

Edit: <prays> Definitely Freelancer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Freelancer.jpg) for the first pic.

Yep Fosley got Freelancer right. Your turn Fosley.

I actually haven't played this in a while.

And another screen minus the UI just because I think it's cool. :) Click me (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3462/3259629774_4d9d2c367c_b.jpg).

Hitman 2. I don't remember Hitman 1 much, but I think the graphics were worse.

Edit: the interesting part of that screenshot is the inspection window on the pig, who is obviously a GM-type playing a pig. I got to randomly type "Sooeeee" a zillion times and kill random monsters to prevent the pigs from dying, but the reality is those pigs could likely have dominated me, and therefore all the monsters I was killing, which were about 50 levels beneath me. But it does put the "role-playing" in MMORPG. :) The better part? I was typing "soooeee" (imitating a pig call), and the other guy said it should be something else. The next day, I read a news article about a real-life pig-calling competition (yes, apparently they're real), and they spelled it like me, so I win. :) Oh, and I now have a "summon pig" spell, which is about useless, but only like 3 other people in the game can do it, presumably.

Then I'm calling Blood Money. I've never actually played anything but 1 & 2, and haven't beaten either, so it's more of a guess, but I think Contracts wasn't as high quality either.
