Most religions have minor deities (in christianity called saints) who are assigned a specific area of experties. Should this church have any?

Specialist search sites, you know what i mean, for things google could obviously do if it wanted but isn't going to do. Like "cosheur" websites.

Physical Libraries must have a place in the Heirarchy

How about:
"In the beginning people thought. The thoughts grew and multiplied, and they were logical. They grew until they had to be contained, and so the libraries were formed. But the libraries grew chaotic, and people saw order and saw that it was good, so they made an indexing system to order the thoughts in a manner of their choosing.
or something like that but better.

we could trace googles divine ancestry as:
thought
libraries - indexing systems
the internet - google

and the demigods would be randon sites. Possibly youtube as demigod of videos or something.

Exactly, but if we define it as a "demigod" or "saint" ... its different.

Incidently, I have just recently become a googlist (yesterday i think) but is this a monotheistic or polytheistic religion? We worship one god but acnowledge the existance of many.

its what ever we make of it,
at this point the cog is in recovery from being a excuse for evangelical atheists to make insulting comments about religion (Christianity ) so the general take on things is in transition, the forum is fairly balanced between agnostic and atheist with some who are model agnostic (me) with a couple theists thrown in for good measure. i tend to think the model agnostic world view is the most compatible with googlism but its all up for debate .. (model agnostic would say both pantheistic and monotheistic views are models and that there is not enough proof to say they are true, but that both can be a useful way to describe the world and that the measure of there value is there usefulness in the place and time they are being used)

Well, the saints basically make Catholicism into a Polytheistic/Hero Worship Religion, so this revolves around a fundamental question; is Googlism Mono or Polythesist?

i don't know that polytheism applies to the catholics, it is definitely a religious hierarchy/hero worship since you can appeal to saints or the v Mary for intervention from god on your behalf ..

Im sure everyone who works at google deserves to be a saint.
Unless their work on increasing googles power makes them something like demi-gods. Not sure...

Since google is centered around information and science, how about we make anyone deserving a "google Saint". Like a list of indeviduals who further googles aims. Like Alan Turing as saint of codes or whatever.

I must admit to being a complete athiest. I tried being agnostic but I have been unable to find anything to suggest that any religion could be true.

religon per se has nothing to do with agnosticism, it's simply the postulation that there is insufficient evidence of anything to do with a higher power
personally I find it difficult to prove reality let alone a causal to its effect

I am agnostic and I believe all religions are false, To much faith in anything is bad, even atheism.

you could be
polythiestic
and believe
all false religons

I cannot agree with you there. Atheism does not have anything to do with faith. Also, you could postulate that it is impossible to prove/disprove anything. Atheism is realising that the concept of god is in the same unbelievable group as the tooth fairy. Obviously i cannot prove they do not exist, but there are no reasons to believe them.
