I think that I'll start a new thing, by posting a quote from the book of Google, then we can all talk about it. Like they do in other churches. Anyone can also quote. If this doesn't catch on, it doesn't really matter.

There will come a day when darkness shall cover all of cyberspace. In the years after net neutrality has been completely forgotten, and you must pay money to dwell in the fire swamps of MSN and Yahoo, there will be only on source of light and salvation. And every knee will bend, every head will bow, in gratitude to Google and only Google, for protecting its followers and never charging a fee. Thus says the Lord.

After reading about the nine proofs, I couldn't help but write this. Not sure that Judas Priest is particularly appropriate source material for hymns, but if I'm struck down by a bolt from the google I guess I'll know that was the case...

Google is God (http://amiright.com/parody/70s/judaspriest6.shtml) (to the tune of Breaking the Law, by Judas Priest)

PS Hey, a capcha string of "thehym" - how appropriate :)

Google, it is omnipresent - it is everywhere
Google, it is omniscient, google answers prayer
Google, it infinite, and google never lies
So we might as well agree, there's only one word that applies:

Google is God, Google is God
Google is God, Google is God
Google is God, Google is God
Google is God, Google is God

Google is immortal because google cannot die
Everyone believes in google, here's a reason why:
Google can't do evil, that is their philosophy
So I offer this as proof that google's a deity

Google is God, Google is God
Google is God, Google is God
Google is God, Google is God
Google is God, Google is God

Google's bigger than Christ

Google is God, Google is God
Google is God, Google is God
Google is God, Google is God
Google is God, Google is God

Feel free,(to xpost here) but please include a link to the page on amiright so that people can leave comments if they so desire.

Sorry for the double post but I thought this was brilliant.

Thou shalt have no other Search Engine before me, neither Yahoo nor Lycos, AltaVista nor Metacrawler. Thou shalt worship only me, and come to Google only for answers.

Thou shalt not build thy own commercial-free Search Engine, for I am a jealous Engine, bringing law suits and plagues against the fathers of the children unto the third and fourth generations.

Thou shalt not use Google as a verb to mean the use of any lesser Search Engine.

Commandments for your thought? :D
