more than that,
it integrates email, live chat, forums and document collaboration
along with alot of other bells and whistles
or so it would seem
would be fun to beta

I requested an invite from Google to be a Beta tester, they haven't sent me one but I'm still hopeful yet! If I get any invites I'll send you one Tag.

Wave is pretty awesome. I wish it would come out to beta at least, and more people need to start using it..

That being said, I have 16 invites for anyone who'd like one.. PM me...

What the fuck is pre-beta?
It's either beta or it's not. And seeing how it's a Google product, it's in the Beta stages still.

tagnostic

Sorry, it is in "preview" mode now...

Not really beta, and I suppose not really alpha...

Google keeps re-inventing the word beta.

Razloga
February 8th, 2010, 06:57 PM
Oh yeah.. But honestly, I hope it stays in beta for a while.. Gmail was really nice while it was semi-exclusive.. And Gmail was in beta for what, 5+ years?..

Chrome on the other hand, it was in and out of beta in about a year- too quick for a well rounded product..

rzm61
February 8th, 2010, 08:11 PM
I still consider Chrome beta. Pretty sure it is.

Razloga
February 8th, 2010, 08:50 PM
yeah.. It does feel like there is something missing- I can't really point to it though..

but it isn't in beta.. Hasn't been for a while.. Proof.. (http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/12/google-chrome-beta.html)

Linux is great, but I haven't been able to use it as my main.. That is mostly just my "fun" partition... :icon_lol:

Right..

But still, better to get people on the bandwagon now..

It would help Google (methinks..) to better track issues with it and release it quicker...
