Alright, I know alot of people are worried about global warming, alot of people are also not worried at all.
Well I'm worried, but the aspect of global warming I believe in, doesn't end the world persay. It just ends us.
Did it to the Dinosaurs.
Did it to the Pre-historic mammals.
Did it to the Babylonians.
Did it to the Persians.
Did it to the Romans
Did it to the Greeks.
Does it to everyone.

So I'm not worried about the world. It'll live.
I'm more worried about us.

Everyone has their time in the worlds spotlight, but our time here isn't even a fraction of a fraction of anything. There was a time when the world was a Tropic (assumption from scientific evidence). So what says this isn't possible again? People have not been tracking weather patterns for that long. So how de we know the world isn't sup-post to do this? How do you know, you evolved from monkey's? We could just be very lucky fish. And according to genealogy, we are an symbiotic relationship of bacteria and other micro-organisms. How do you know that things like Swine/Avian and other types of flu are not just your body, adapting to a new environment? Ever changing your body is.

Again these are just my opinions based on the information at hand. If you have any additions/disagreements you can do so in a constructive manor. I even encourage it.
Keep it light.

How can we worry if the effects won't affect us in our lifetime? We surely can try to help but wont that mean that we have to get rid of cows and cap vocanoes? :icon_eek:

I find it the height of hubris
to think that an insignificant
mammal who has been around
less than the blink of an eye
in the planetary scheme of things.
how can we think we are the be all
end all and cure all of any damn thing.
we can't stop killing each other
how the hell are we going to
save a frigging planet? when
we can save ourselves I'll
consider it, in the mean time
we might get uppity and the
planet will shake us off like fleas

I think we should lessen the captivity rate, let stock take hold and revert some of the land we already have and are not using, into some sort of habituary.

we could just attach lighters to their tales
set off with a motion detector
feed them saurkraut
and they'd come
pre cooked
and save the ozone

I laugh at those who fell for the whole "Global Warming" hoax... it's almost as funny as the Y2K hoax. Stop trying to predict the end of the world or the end of man's existence, you will never succeed...

...not even Google knows!
