Ice rally coming to a close in November?? :icon_eek:

Lol! Do you have summer at all where you live?

Is an ice rally where you race cars on an iced track? I always wanted to do that...wait, that's what I do every day getting to work in the winter. :icon_evil:

What did you win btw? :icon_cool:

Too much snow on the track.

Yes, but there is snow then too.

Yes, it is, except there are usually qualifications like the races I was in

which are

RWD
Big Block ONLY
no more than 500hp ( I cried because I had to tune it down )

and I won 1st, in the 1/2 mile circuit,
Which got me.
1500$ and bragging rights up to wazoo, up to wazoo indeed.

I don't have any decent pics to upload yet but it goes as follows.

its a Javelin. AMC for the win.
its a 413 express U-code hemi converted to A/diesel.
with cummins turbo injectors, and stage 3 turbo.
Dropped the AWD gear, and now its a beast.

Obviously it isn't your daily driver... haha

Don't know much about AMC, or old cars in general. I support the Japanese car industry, but I can always appreciate a beast of a car.

can you explain,
'its a 413 express U-code hemi converted to A/diesel.'?

Btw, this is what I drive,
http://images.drive.com.au/drive_images/Editorial/UserReviewImageUploads/QGT770%20(1)20070205183200.JPG

I'm looking at a turbo engine swap at the moment, hopefully can get it done by the new year!

I'm a tow truck driver. :icon_lol:

413 express U code is a plymouth motor dating from 1964 to 1975.
Mainly in Savoy station wagons.

It has low compression hemi heads I ripped out of an old grain truck, when I did the measurements, the cid, never changed. Lucked out. I reinforced the entire block with a 470 cummins turbo diesel kit., and I forced a stage 3 turbo onto the throttlebody. :icon_lol:

A/diesel, is a term, for mixing pure Air with your fuel in place of Nitrous.

I then payed about, 3000$ for a burnt out 79 Javelin U code with a dud 390, and made the switch.

And yeah, not many of my vehicles are daily drivers... But it doesn't stop me.

Dust Devil burnouts. :D :icon_lol: lol jk, but my eyes are not so good anymore, I can't tell the difference from the pic. If its a Fiero, Good job sport, just make sure to check the framework for the front end breaks.. It Will. Happen.

if its an MR2, your screwed.

Amen to that.

Except Ramchargers... They kicked ass until, 1990... then fuel injection kicked in. Yeah, we all know how mopar v8's and fuel injection like eachother...

Like a member of the Klan, and Ricky Martin.

Metric system... You'll catch up one day, America.

Wait you're running a diesel engine then? Does it move fast, or are you able to just pull a lot of weight...?
Where the heads twin cam I presume?

I have a 1.6L engine in my car, I'm thinking of slapping a t22 on it, muck about with my exhaust a lil and hopefully get some power.

Yes, but along with the diesel, pure oxygen.

I won something didn't I? that should say enough.

and fast? o.o When I don't use the restrictors it pumps 652 hp

i gotta pull yer plug on this one

whats the fastest
traction based
you can go?

ya gotta break gravity laws
to have more fun

not that i'm against it
but if your ground bound
its all ya got

(9.9 little river raceway on a 77 gt 750 [more than slightly modified])

You mean 400 metres. Why deal with fractions? Just use numbers.

We should make a deal.

1. The USA will switch to metric.
2. The rest of the world will write decimals with a dot
3.14159
and thousands with a comma
It's over 9,000!
:over9000:

Its just a nos system modified for low pressure charges... The Nitrogen, just gets too cold here,

@Tag, I don't plan on lifting off quite yet, I just plan on, going as fast as I can, and eventually hitting a brick wall along the way.
I do plan on having one of my machines take me out. :icon_razz:

pi are square
c'mon spork
surely you can give us more decimals than that
and hell
lets make avoirdupois the standard
for everything,
i'm thinkin bushels of kilowatts

i've been trying to break laws since i could spell them
natural ones are my favorite
fun laws to break
Gravity
the one your attempting
(i've tried many a time)
no two objects can occupy the same space at the same time
(usually involves my face and some one elses pedal extremities)
