Scientists don't believe in hyper micro evolution, but biblical creationists does.
Less than 5.000 years ago. Noah took for example 2 spiders on board his ark. Now we have about 20.000 different spiders across the globe differing in size from one tenth of a newborn humans fingertip to spiders as large as a grown man's face.

This is over 50.000 times faster evolution than biologists are speaking of. Maybe more. They take this evolution on faith, and say evolution is stupid. They also take on faith that this rapid evolution has invisible boundaries, so spiders can never evolve into something else than spiders.

A world view needs some consistency to bear any merit. Also, it would be nice if the world view wasn't falsified by discoveries and experiments.

Another ironic thing that many biblical creationists believe is that the universe came from nothing. Sure, it was spoken into existence by God, but it is still ex nihilo. The universe wasn't part of God or something other than God pre-creation. It was nothing. It is kind of sad that they make fun of themselves when they say that "All ya atheists believe the universe came from nothing". Not many atheists believe that. And Hawking believe it came from unstable quantum states, which is only kind of nothing in layman's terms.
