netbook woes

got this dell inspiron mini netbook
250 gig hd
2gig ram
no effing cdrom
trying to put ubuntu on the little bugger
(has lobotomized win7 starter)
got ubuntu netbook on a flashdrive
bloody thing locks up 3/4 of the way into the install
used winblows UNetbootin to make it bootable
now the damn thing won't boot to windows or ubuntu
can get it to run Live just not install
can't get UNetbootin to run on my box
to try to make another and fragged the last
version with help from kittens on the keyboard
crap!

after trying every ISO i've got
i kept getting a 'Not com32' error
until I booted my main box with
Ubuntu Netbook 9.07 Live
and used it to create a bootable
flashdrive
got the sucker installed
running flawlessly
