No, not the sort the Christians spread about Armageddon...

Post all your stories that require our sympathy.

I don't have any myself at the moment but I thought that with the "Good News!" thread the forum was unbalanced.

I was at school and my palm pilot died so i put it in my pocket, where I always do, I come home and take it out to charge it and theres this HUGE crack in the screen and the liquid crystals are leaking out. I called tech support and they said that my warranty (the one that comes WITH the palm) doesn't cover screen breakage even thought i've had it for just about 2 months... and that it's going to cost me $150 to have them replace the screen on a $200 PDA... I'm a whee bit pissed at them.

Man that does suck.

I learned that lesson from my phone, always put it in your pocket with the screen facing towards you as the corner of a table is the same hight as your pocket.

Have you tried taking it back to the store and saying it was like that when you opened it? Say that it was a gift and has only just been opened even though it was bought 2 months ago.

Ouch, that sucks, Syber. :(

I just have a cold during finals week, making it impossible to really work or study effectively.

I got a new phone (and a contract) for my birthday on Friday, and they sent it without a sim card so I couldnt use it and had to get them to send another one. This wouldnt have been so much of an arse had I not travelled for 4 hours to collect it and open it.

My car was broken in to the other day, the lock is completely wrecked and the door around it is damaged. Looks like they were trying to steal it as one of the screws is missing from the cover on the steering column. Nothing is missing and the car was still there (not that they would have got far even if they had managed to hotwire it as it has an immobiliser), so it is not as bad as it could be.

The one question I must ask however is this; Who the fuck wants to go for a joyride in a 1.0 Suzuki Alto? It isn't exactly the most exciting car to drive.

It rained on the first day of my swimming class. Also there was a fly-hee-aye in my Chardonnay.

No matter, I'll learn to swim one way or another.

Well......
I'm sickly, myself. Nasal congestion along with the fact my throat's getting sore because of it....But with these new sinus pills, I oughta be feeling better soon.
My grannie has an ear infection, she can't hear out of it and has to put all sorts of drops down in it. She also has tumors in her throat that she believes is from too much smoking. They've done a biopsy, but they have to do another because the results were inconclusive. She also has to get something for her eyes because she was in a car wreck a couple of years ago that knocked it nearly right out of it's socket.
Yup. Sucks. D: I'm the one she forces to put those drops in her ear. -shudder-

Had twisted my foot. Thought it`s gonna just go away, but it got worse, so had to go to doctor.

Gots special bandage now to wear for two weeks. (and it`s +30 C here.)

My car is messed. I was out drinking with friends and left my car in the bar parking lot, as I obviously don't do the whole drunk driving thing. I crashed at my girlfriends house, woke up the next day to find my car door trashed. Looks like somebody side swiped it.

Umm... I have exams now :( I've got to do and Astronomy exam on my 16th birthday (next Tuesday). I have a Biology exam at 1:45 pm today and the clever people at my school have decided to have the double science exam in the hall as well as the Biology exam so half way through a 100+ people will be leaving the hall. V. distracting.
Oh what else. My Basset Hound may have cancer. My sister's being a bitch like usual (where's the good new thread, I need to post in there).
I have to go to Shrewsbury Sixth Form which means they'll be ringing up my father who I haven't seen since I was 7 because they did the same thing with my sister. Oh what joy! You know, somehow I don't want to see the bastard who raped his children, beat his wife and children up and stole half a million pounds from his elderly clients.
