Found this on the internets, and I'm curious to see how we all compare. :)

http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html

My results:

1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (99%)
3. Liberal Quakers (97%)
4. Neo-Pagan (84%)
5. Theravada Buddhism (78%)
6. Mahayana Buddhism (76%)
7. New Age (73%)
8. Taoism (73%)
9. Secular Humanism (71%)
10. Bahá'í Faith (64%)
11. Jainism (58%)
12. Orthodox Quaker (57%)
13. Nontheist (57%)
14. Reform Judaism (52%)
15. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (49%)
16. New Thought (44%)
17. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (43%)
18. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (42%)
19. Sikhism (42%)
20. Hinduism (42%)
21. Scientology (34%)
22. Seventh Day Adventist (33%)
23. Jehovah's Witness (30%)
24. Orthodox Judaism (23%)
25. Islam (17%)
26. Eastern Orthodox (10%)
27. Roman Catholic (10%)

The more liberal branches of Christianity always end up in the top percentage--a vestige of my Methodist upbringing, I suppose (though there's no question about Jesus in there, which I think should be, because no matter what kind of Christian you are, Christ is sort of the decisive factor). UU nearly always wins, and while I dig what they're about overall, a lot of the time they seem to just sort of cherry pick in their theology/philosophy, taking what is just trendy or appealing without looking at everything.

What'd you guys get? How well do you think it applies?

You can only do so much with a multiple choice option, but yeah. That's kind of a problem with this one. I like that it ranks all of the "options" available--I wonder which 17% of Islam I agree with. =P Or which 34% of Scientology...eugh.

Bacause you do?

Percentage means, how much of your views expressed in test coincided with the views of particular religion/philosophy.

Apparently, you agree with Jehovas` Witnesses on one out of four things.

We are against people, who want to force their religion on others, mainly.

We are to show, that people are free to believe in what they want, despite the opinions of others. And we are to show, that any belief system should not be repressed OR forced on anyone - be it atheism, christianity, buddhism, paganism, googlism or any other religion.

No, but instead they have obnoxious teenage attention whores to do the job of pissing everyone else in the world off.*

And most pagans I've met (that is, encounter on LJ communities and forums) can be, well...luddites, and rather scornful of the idea of technology used in any kind of spiritual/metaphysical sense. So they wouldn't say we're going to hell, no, but some might not respect us very much (they just have the common courtesy not to tell us so).

Ah yes the rebellious teenagers declaring that they're Wicca. (Never heard of one declaring themselves as a Druid, Heathen etc I can't be bothered to list them all) They piss me off no end. :icon_evil: It's a toss up which one's worse: the rebellious teenagers or the fluffy bunnies. Hopefully the rebellious teenagers will end up figuring out what Wicca is all about and so wander off towards Satanism. The only thing to do with the fluffies is to eat them. :icon_twisted: They read one SRW book and so have no idea what Wicca is about and are absolutely convinced that millions of Wiccans were burnt during the "Burning times" (actually only 5 people were burnt in Europe: the ones that burned were Christian heretics. The people accused of witchcraft were hung and in fact most of them were Christians. (Salem "witch" trials for example.) They also haven't quite figured out that Wicca is only 50 years old so how on earth any were killed I really have no idea. The down and right worse fluffies are the Christian Wiccans. Christian Witch yes. Christian Wiccan: NO end of story.

Sorry for the rant :)

I dunno, I'm not a fan of the "No God or supreme force. Or not sure. Or not important." option that I had to choose half the time, though I did answer as truthfully as I could. The test is obviously intended as one for religious people in general, but I mean it shouldn't have been hard to give some more general questions with a bit more belief-agnostic answers. That would have made the results a bit more interesting, I think, so I could get a better view on what religions are actually close to my morality even if I don't really believe in anything supernatural.

There`s gotta be more to atheistic answers then "No, I do not believe anything,". That`s patently stifling, especially then the question regards morals and habits. It apriori suggests, that unless you believe in some god, you are not capable of morals/opinions.

seems to me that the test is quite accurate though some of the questions were hard to apply to myself and such,'

still the synopsis of the 100% religion i got seemed to apply to me well, seeing as i am liberal, both in religion and politics, and that i shuld definitly not be considered a traditional christian

It was an interesting test, I'd call myself more or less a follower of Secular Humanism next to Googlism. Really just don't see why there needs to be so many religions when all we really need is to accept a set of rules that tell us how to be good people (Don't kill, don't steal), but not rules that unnecessarily limit rights and progression in life.

It does not works. I tried.

Best results are yielded by discharging shotgun in the ceiling, making goofy face, and saying - "Whoops, fingers slipped.", then inconspiciously lower shotgun, pointing it in guests` midsection, and ask - "Now, what can I do for you?"

Yeah this is a pretty old thread at this point, but I'm bored at work here killing some time till lunch and figured what the heck. I definitely see what everyone has said about this being pretty biased towards theists in general. I felt like I was taking the "No, not sure, not important" response for the first few pages.

Regardless, here's my breakdown:
