Nah, it's cool, google doesn't really care what you do, exactly. She's kind of indifferent as far as commandments and stuff go. I like that. I only use aim - via Pidgin - these days, myself.

I use all four major IM providers (YIM/AIM/MSN/ICQ) and GTalk. My YIM username is j.delmoso. I think they're actually all on my profile.

Yahoo is alot better than AIM in my opinion.
