View Full Version : It's too bad...

It's too bad all the "serious" flamers have given up in defeat. I guess they weren't expecting us to actually be intelligent people with logical arguments. Anyone know of a few fundamentalist forums we can post our word to? We'll consider it missionary work. How about the stormfront boards? Get them over here for the fuck of it.

Hehe, I welcome the challenge.

But maybe we need to clean up the boards a bit, arugeing with 15 yr olds for a week has seemed to trash the place, and burry all traces of logic and formal debate. :(

I'm working on doing that right now. All posts regarding friedass are being moved to the SPAM! forum. This place will be for serious debate from now on.

Prais be upon his googli goodness.

You may want to hit up the Evangelical sites...I am about to wreak havoc here:

Get a few people interested in the church and logic and atheism and all the reasons fairytales suck.

I was browsing around those forums and it scares me. I wouldn't want to tough them. I do hope however your post inviting a few over does bring some apolegetics over.

Unfortunately serious religious flamers are something that we are not going to have to troll for; the larger we grow the more they will come. They will come in droves, like sharks to blood; if past results are any indication, it will be their own blood; they just don't know it.

Heavily moderated sit, of eight posts two have been taken down...and I didnt even start calling them Dad Wankers yet.

Here is a lovely response I made:

Welcome to CWS, SAVAGE.
Thanks.
Let me guess: you are young enough to still 'know' everything, and you've come to a Christian forum to save all of us blind, deluded fools from ourselves. :rotf:
If you consider 28 that age then sure.
Please show proof for your brash statement, "There is no God". You can't.
Very well I am suer that you understand the basic tenents of empirical evidence, you are correct indeed I cannot prove a negative.

However it is quite possible, it is actually refered to the "burden of proof"...it states that the person who is making the positive statement (i.e god exists) needs top show there evidence for it.

So here is where you overwhelm me with your solid and surefire unquestionable evidence for the existance of god?

Do you have any evidence, or even logical proofs that cannot have holes poked through them?
Answer your own question; what is that "small percentage"? Again, you can't.
Do the studies ofthe sucess rates of Christain Scientists, and many other hospital studies on prayer.
Prayers are answered every day, in things both big and small, in ways miraculous and mundane, as can be attested to by innumerable believers throughout the world.
Proof would be nice?
Simply because YOU don't believe, in no way negates God's power.
Untrue, this is why you are still a theist...on more then one occasion in the bible jesus was unable to perform miracles because the people had no faith, the power of god relies on faith, no faith, no power period.
You say "God will never answer you". God has answered me, many times; He has answered many of my prayers, not always with the answer that I was hoping for.
So why are your prayers more important then the prayers made for the starving children in africa?
He is present in your life also. What you do in this life is your choice; what you do in the next life is His.

RAS
Appeal to consequence...all theists fall backon this fallacy. So who has come back from this life and told you about heaven and that god was jehovah, and not Ganesh?

OMG, that was hilarious. I have to visit those forums. I love the way they ask you for proof. I mean, hello? The ownus is on them.

The only reason people have slowed down trying to save you from hell is that it seems hopeless because you seem so bent on going there. But I will not give up and let you enter hell by your choosing.

Seaming you are repeating yourself in just about every post I, will also reinterate what I have previously stated: I would rather burn than go to a nonexistent place that only holds hyprocrits and Christians; that is my concept of Hell!

(sigh) After doing some thinking I have decided that if I was in your shoes that if someone tried to change my beliefs it would bother and I guess in a way offend me. So I guess you're all wrong... but this is more of looking from the other side of the fence. I still don't believe google is god but according to the Bill of Rights you have the freedom to believe in whatever religion no matter what... as long as it doesn't end up with you killing someone. One last thing... I admit that I respect and honor your beliefs and would like you to stop 'flaming' my religion. Flaming accomplishes nothing except increasing tensions between people. With that... bye.

If by "flame" you mean disagree... then yes we are flaming you. But no more so than you are flaming us (since you disagree with us).
