Okay, so you come back to the board one day, and more than a dozen threads have been moved out of Serious Discussion. At least two of them were very serious indeed...but that didn't help them.

They were moved to obscurity because any thread posted here, regardless of intent or effort extended, is at the mercy of the mod who is feeling LEAST reasonable on any given day.

Which is why this board is doomed.

This ain't one of the Big Boards. Having a snobby fucking attitude about what's serious and what isn't is a sure fire way of making sure you wind up with two types of people: asshole mods with a terminal case of big-fish-in-a-little-pond, and people that will put up with ANYTHING.

This is fucking bullshit, and the mod responsible for this most recent purge should be dragged out and given the bastinado. Yeah, I'm talking about YOU, Fallen. What the FUCK was that all about? Do you think you're fucking editing the goddamn New Yorker here or something? With a small and shrinking user base, you think you have grounds to be a choosy little shit about what meets the (ever undefined) "standards" of this "holy ground"?

No wonder this place is a fucking morgue. Bastards like YOU killed it. You've taken the funniest joke religion since Mormonism and SUCKED ALL THE FUN OUT OF IT. Congratulations. Jackass.

On a REAL board, the mods fucking ENCOURAGE content, they don't goddamn SMASH IT FLAT AT BIRTH. They spend more time improving the board (some fucking smileys would be nice), and they don't spend all their goddamn time purging the discussion boards of everything that, you know, might be FUN to debate about.

You MIGHT consider building a USER BASE and a little CONTENT before you start being a picky bastard.
