It'll be a commercial you can watch online. But not just any commercial. It will not only give good detail about our beliefs, but it shall also be funny and entertaining. We can post it on youtube maybe, and then people can put it on their webpages with HTML! Anyway, since I'm just a kid, I was using a free moviemaker thing. It might be better if we get someone who's not just a kid to help. They might have flash. I'm good at writing stories, but when it comes to art and animation.......

No body in their right mind is going to join a church devoted to a SEARCH ENGINE! Its common sense. Well Tofu, you may not really be a kid, but I have to hand it to you: your good at coming up with ideas. Google Appreciation Day was your idea and I give you credit for that. This is also a very good idea. Now if only we could find somebody with background in film. Hmmm. We could make this work. If the video recieved a lot of views on YouTube, it would be huge promotion for Googlism.

Look, we'll be happy to debate you on that, but could you please start making these posts/flames in Googlism Debate, and try to keep them moderately polite or they'll be moved to I'm Feeling Unlucky. Thanks. Also, I AM a kid. Maybe you made a typo and typed "not" by mistake. I've been going on the internet since first grade. Back then, I only went on TV Channel sites. Then I found the magical Cartoon Orbit, a Cartoon Network multiplayer virtual card trading game. My sister discovered you could get secret codes to unlock more trading cards [called Ctoons in the game] by searching for them on google. So I did that. Then I saw that some of those sites had cheats for Neopets. I wondered what neopets was. So I googled it....
And pretty soon, I was on my first message board: the neochat. After Neopets, I started going on other sites where you can chat. I learned how to type fast AND a lot of other stuff from the internet. Everyone on habbo hotel says I'm too smart to be a kid. I kind of take that as a compliment. That's probably what you're thinking. Anyway, can I write some of the script for the video? I'm a good story writer. I have a bunch of ideas for the online graphic novel based on my webcomic, Tofu Time. It's going to have action, romance, and maybe a quarter of it will be comedy. But I'm focusing on amazing plots here.

Good news, everyone! I've gotten Windows Movie Maker to work! I uploaded a test video to YouTube. AND IT WORKED! I'll make the commercial! It'll only be a slideshow of pictures that make up a story, and it wont have sound. Maybe I can send someone the file, and they can do voices.

I'm just a kid. I have no microphone, and I'm not very good at movie making. I don't know how to add music I get from the internet. I got one of those things where you type text, and a voice says them. I tried adding those sound clips to movies once, but it didn't work. Maybe YOU can tell me how to add music.

Ok I have Flash MX, Muvee autoProducer, and Windows Movie Maker. Unfortuneatly, I have only used Flash MX and that isn't best for movies. I'm thinking about eventually thinking about making a flash like this (http://www.venganza.org/flash/guidetopastafarianismpreloaded.swf) for the scripture page. I'll hopefully have time after I do that to teach myself Muvee autoProducer, and Windows Movie Maker to help you guys.

I decided making something entertaining would mean making ALL those pictures for the commercial [I can only make slideshows]. I can only make ONE good quality picture per day. And the point of this IS to advertise, right? So, I just thought of something simple that will make people excited and think "This sounds interesting. I must visit the site.". If you're not happy with it, maybe we can get other people to make some.

Tofu - unfortunetly, most people will be 'turned off' if there is no audio. You can always pray to Google for free music and sound files and add them. The script is hardly perfect (it could be tweaked to sound better, IMHO) , but the idea is good.

For some reason I found the delayed little '.org' funny. Aside from that, I think maybe the delay between changing pictures was a bit too long. But still, brownie points for going to the effort. :)

Over these past few months, I've learned something. Most of my early creative work including this commercial sucks. Except for my poems. I should do a new commercial. It'll have voices, because I've recently aquired a microphone. It'll also be longer. Let's pitch around some hilarious script ideas for a new commercial.
