Yeah this one confused me. Even with your 'religion' being as it is this made no sense. Explain why is Microsoft the Devil? It's run by humans just like Google.

Microsoft is evil and therefore Satan. Reason: they attempt to monopolize everything they get their grubby hands on and leave users with no choice. They even made a grab for the Internet, I am told.

Because Microsoft attempt to monopolise the computing industry with shoddy products that often crash and destroy your valuable work. That's evil.

Careful you know what they say, 'the biggest trick Satan played on the world was, to convince us that he does not exist'?

I don't know if I'd exactly call microsoft evil. Very unethical on the other hand, yes, absolutely. Releasing an OS that still has many known bugs without giving people the opportunity to get into the source code and fix it isn't right. Microsoft does have some things that are ok. My Xbox roxors. I wouldn't give it up for anything. As much as people complain about IE, it's not that it's a sucky piece of software, it just has too many security issues. Look past those and it's a pretty good web browser. If you stay off questionable sites it's not an issue. Also, lets not forget, for those of us that work on computers for a living, Microsoft is our cash cow. We make a living fixing the mistakes that microsoft makes.
But, what about some of these other big corp.'s out there. Are they Satan as well? Let's look at Intel. To this day they're trying to Monopolize the chip market. Your not even safe using a Mac anymore because they're using Xeon and Dual Core Intel chips.
Apple, for that matter, doesn't license out there hardware as IBM did back in the day, making the PC market what it is today. Is Apple evil for not doing this with their (IMHO) much better hardware?
I could go on, but the point is is that everyone has there opinions, there likes and dislikes. Instead of calling some entity evil just because you don't like them doesn't mean that they're evil. Perhaps they're just unguided.

Intel has tried to monopolize the chip market, yes, but then AMD came in to kick Intel's ass.

The X-box.
The X-box is a good thing. Very good. Sony released piece of shit hardware with very limited support and Microsoft came in and cleaned up the mess.
If you check out anything recent going on in the console industry, Sony is still shitting all over the industry, and Nintendo and MS are still cleaning it up.
Most of Sony's shit includes:
-Unrealisticly high developement costs for game developers
-Overusage of large useless numbers as propaganda (TFLOPs? 8 SPEs? my ass!)
-Secret Agendas with Unnecessary proprietary formats (blueray, UMD)
-Relatively low yeilds on everything (Cells, Blueray discs, working PS2s and PS3s).
-Introduced the first DISC READ ERROR caused by a design flaw. Infact, lowered the industry hardware standards altogether.
-Lies
Moving out of the Console industry, let's focus on Apple:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/eezeepee/eMac.jpg
I saw one of these when I walked in someone's house and immidiately screamed "Are you 10 years old?" Apple needs to stop making shitty Fisher Price desktop computers. Luckily for Windows users, you can atleast turn off Fisher-Price mode in the themes menu, or play a video game. Unfortunately, these things always will look like a fisher price toy. With PCs, sure as hell, you can buy a new external case.
When Apple stops that shit:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/trueamenity/ibook.jpg
This is cool. Keep making these. Next, make your OS AMD compatible. Kthx.
Oh, most importantly, Stop with proprietary shit. AAC=bad.
Microsoft:
Cut yourself up. Stick hardware, DirectX, and Windows on one side, then stick MS office in your other side. Good job. Maybe you should cut yourself up more, who knows.
Sony:
If you don't clean up your act, your going to need a feeding tube. And I'm the one who's going to cut it open.

I was thinking about this topic the other day. Microsoft is an undeniable part of the technology and software invovled in Googlism. The Internet, Google, and web browsers are the holy trinity, so to speak. However, we also need a working computer, an ISP, and an OS to access these three. While the holy trinity are all free, and other three are costly in price, more riddled with bugs, and more tainted by corporate power. Microsoft is the largest and most well-known OS company; they are probably invovled with computer more then anyone else. Because of their corporate status, and asking money for their products, they are the equivilent of Satan/Devil/etc. However, one can argue that they are a necessity, and therefore can't be evil. Well, to continue mirroring other relgions, lust and monetary value are considered evil in society today. We do need them, though, otherwise we wouldn't be around! If there were no Satan, no evil side to things, there wouldn't be a contrast to see what is good. So, while Microsoft is evil, it is a necessay evil.

Evil IS a necessity, in order for there to be good. In order for there to be light, dark must exist, in order to be truly happy, you must have known sadness. Bad wouldn't be bad without good, nor good good without bad.

Why? If the universe was suddenly bombarded with photons you'd have light everywhere and no darkness. If the parts of your brain that perceive happiness were to get stimulated for no reason at all, you'd be happy, regardless of what has happened prior in your life, and a man who does only good in a world where everything is good is equal to a man who does good in a world that holds evil.
Good is good without bad, we'd just not know it because we'd have no basis of comparison.

No. Good would be "normal" without bad, as there needs to be bad for good to be a concept. It would be normalcy, and nobody would really pay good any attention at all.

Read the history of Microsoft, read some other's thoughts on why they are evil and tell me they are not evil?
Microsoft is not perfect but they try to improve things for everyone without making them feel stupid many of there ideas are ahead of there time the same can be said of apple and it can also be said apple wants to be a monopoly
if you support linux witch is free your taking away jobs at microsoft and apple so dose that make you a good person? why not try to improve windows officially or unofficially instead of creating a new os
Micorosft Gives away stuff and time they give there employees time to do things for charity microsoft gives away money to great causes microsoft spends alot of money to put on events that help microsoft users get the most from there product helping hundreds of thousands of bussiness as well as rewarding those people with free stuff and free food for showing up
you may call them a monopoly but how did they become a monopoly by creating a better product that people purchased there only crime is helping people and wanting to be better without breaking compatability or dominating in any one field other than the operating system and office
I must ask how is a company that tries to help and gives away time and money bad? how is creating jobs bad?
yes microsoft wants to compete with google on search but google will always be our favourite
but windows live search is no where near as good as google

many of there ideas are ahead of there time
Linux witch is free
your taking
"there" is an adverb meaning in a specific place, "their" is the possesive pronoun.
a "witch" is someone who practices witchcraft, "which" is the relative pronoun.
"your" is a possesive pronoun, "you're" is the contraction of "you are".

I once went on Google Jobs' altruism section and found that that year they had donated a large sum of money to Yahoo that year.
