Thoughts and ideas?

More activity is just about it. Maybe contests and judged debates would help too.

Formal debates was an idea I was going to implement awhile back but had too few visitors to justify it. I'm implementing it as of now.

Some forums use question games that pass from one person to another and allow new users to get used to posting and get to know each other that way. Opinion polls are another good idea....just a thought.

Like "The Person Under Me" game. The first person starts off saying something like "The person below me thinks google is god" then the next person to post replies to it as such "Yes I do" (If not we hang them) and then adds their own line "The Person below me thinks Yahoo is evil" And so on and so forth.

How many times do I have to say it: a chat room. And every week we hold church inside it.

I second that, each week we hold a 'mass' at the chat.

I agree in principle but practically there's a problem with time zones, we have members in the USA/Canada, Europe and Australia for instance. Do we have enough ACTIVE members, bearing in mind these different times and therefore availability of members?

I'm not arguing for or against, just would it be worth the time and effort of setting it up on the website?

There is not too much censorship on this site. Gees.

The forums are pretty cool as they are now. With the exception of official contests or rated debates, there's not much you could do. The interest in forums depends more on those posting than the forums themselves.

I guess you could add a word games forums (thing like word association, what would you do etc.)
