I have recently installed the pre-release version of windows vista, and im using IE7 instead of firefox. Its like browsing on sex and I seem to love it.
Am i beyond forgiveness?

I had Vista installed for a while, and took it off due to major incompatibility issues. As far as IE7, it sucks.

If you must, you must. Let's leave 'judgemental' to those who do it best, the theists ;)

I haven't used IE7 yet, but the reviews seem to be mixed, with FireFox still getting much better word of mouth.

I have. It's internet explorer version Firefox, copied very close, except that it still has IE popups at random times and half a thousand "runonce" pages that run every time, and it doesn't work with Windows Update. It is crappier skinned than Firefox, too. And it has all the security flaws IE has always had.

As with most of the IE's it has many security holes and is difficult to update. It's also, as with former versions, very slightly faster than Firefox, but not as fast as Opera.
Opera is the most secure and fastest browser (though it gets slower with each version as they add more pointless widgets) and is irritating to update.

Firefox may be slower, but I really prefer firefox to IE

My firefox runs much faster. Maybe you should try installing the "FasterFox" extension.

Ah yes. FireFox is a memory hog... that's for sure. My PC can handle it well though.

The call of Ubuntu is strong...

Good choice. I loathe Mac, for my own personal reasons. I really don't need to explain them here, as it is both irrelevant, pointless, and almost impossible for me to do entirely accurately.

So true, and Linux also is pretty useless without the windows emulator.

I think we can all just agree that one way or another, All OSs Suck Equally.
