I dont really understand why Obama gets all the flack these days. He inherited a mess, and hes working tirelessly to get things fixed.

He is a "doer" president. Conservatives are claiming that he isnt working or doing anything or fulfilling his campaign promises, but they are also claiming hes turning the country socialist and fucking the country up. I find this contradiction really funny.

The truth is that Obama is doing things. He does them all the time. The first thing he did was improve our standing in the worldstage. Our reputation did a complete 180 since he came to office. Its almost unprecedented what hes done in that arena.

He passed healthcare. Despite the horrible media coverage, and complete misunderstanding with the bill. (the majority of people dont know whats in it, but seem pretty determined to be angry about it regardless).

Currently hes fighting five fronts at once. Gay rights, education, Middle east peace talks, War in Afghanistan and the Iraqi elections, and immigration.

This guy has done more in his first year than the past three presidents combined. He gave us the promise of change, and were getting it whether we like it or not.

and the fact that he isnt shoving every measure and battle through the democratic process like bush did is why he isnt moving so fast. If he gets something done he wants it done correctly through the proper measures.
Its that kind of thing that sets him apart from bush, with his do-nothing-congress.
