Christians use it while arguing all the time. "95% of the world believe in god blah blah...."

Heh, Google wins. Again.

Yes, that is a very annoying argument. Everybody used to believe the world was flat, but that doesn't mean it was, was it?

I've actually done that quite a bit. I like finding the Chinese Google sites n such, as well as randomly finding more google stuff I don't know about.

bigger in what sense of the word? bigger as in more hits according to google. The results could be skewed. As a professional skeptic I would suggest finding other evidence other than the evidence google herself provides so as to convince peoplethat google does not make it up.

/me points out last referenced link.

I don`t think Google`d post Yahoo being more popular on there, if they`d be fudging results.

Moreover, it`s possible to cross-reference charts, if someone is a twisted math-fluent geek with nothing better to do.

Are you suggesting that Google either isn't all knowing or is lying to us? Are you saying Google is not as great as The Church of Google makes Google out to be? I smell betrayal.

First you must establish if Google is alive, I believe she is. Secondly, I do not believe any being may be completely omniscient not even my God (Catholic God).

Neither do we. We just believe it is as close as anything has ever gotten to omniscient, having a large portion of the lump sum of all human knowledge.

Honestly, I do NOT think that Google technicians really work hard at fudging results in all the graphs and statistics.
For two reasons:

A) It`s overwhelmingly too costly to fudge results realistically.
B) There is no need for that, simply for the reason, that Google is commercial organisation, NOT a religious sect.

Ironically, that is the issue we take up with certain other religions and religious arguements.

exactly.

Further, God is omniscient (not completely, i posted my argument for this elsewhere), he knows everything that humans do, however he does not share it with all humans, one could say Google is a prophet, bringing the great repository of knowledge to Earth.
