Is any one concerned about Glenn Beck and his lemmings? If Sarah Palin becomes prez, I swear that I am going to move to Canada. Thoughts anyone?

i wouldn't worry to much about the propaganda like that picture being spewed by the left, glen beck isn't a racist or a threat, he is mostly just a savy entertainment guy who knows his bushiness.

also the libertarian/tea party movement in this country is a good thing, the expansion of government and government spending has gone way to far. the professors and teachers and media pushing the left view on you are the establishment! their days of being the radicals ended after the 1960s (88% of all political donations by members of the mainstream media went to left/democrats)

if you want to worry about politics read the founders writings and our country's founding documents...you may be surprised to find they have far more in common with the tea party then the ideology that is in power now.
and that the ideology in power is the one that is really worrisome

i also don't want Sara Palien to run, i may agree with some of the talking points she reads off the notes on her hand, but she is not presidential material.

I swear that I am going to move to Canada.

Oh, believe me Cheese! The grass isn't any greener here.

Our government likes to pattern itself after whoever is prez in the USA. So, you'd just be getting another uglier and probably stupider (if that's possible) version of her. :(

Although, I find the thought of Harper wearing a skirt rather amusing. :icon_lol:

when anyone has to
'shop' for propaganda
that is fear
not fact
don't trust anyone
or any source
decide for yourself
check out everywhere
christian science monitor (neutral)
bbc (neutral)
breitbart (right)
drudge (right)
cnn (left)
fox (right)
the alphabets (abc, cbs, nbc, (Left))
but understand where each of them is coming from
and make your own decisions
remember
everyone has an agenda
the intelligent thing to do is decide what yours is
recognize everyone else's
decipher everything according to perspective (theirs & yours)
then act accordingly

Just like in WWII, the Germans had to spill their anti-Jew propaganda in the streets of Berlin, to get their hate message across. In this similar situation, the tea party (pretty much extreme-republicans/conservatives) are Anti-Obama extremists who believe the bible is the guideline to to societal tolerance and moral understanding, should not come to power.

I am neither Republican not Democrat, however I feel that these "Tea Party" extremists will be the downfall to all reasonable way of thinking, and the progression of the country. In more blatant terms, they are stupid.

they are (tea party) peacefully
advocating their beliefs
last time I checked it was
the American way,
at what point and where
have they in any way
used any form or threat
of violence or intimidation?
other than of course
the ballot box?

The Tea Party I believe are the last stand of a particular view. If I read them right, hence the people they employ as their 'frontman' fly a religion flag, they feel that the world is getting worse without people fearing God. Or, they know there is a vast amount of voters who feel this way and they are simply tapping off this discovery and gathering power from it.

Science is catching up fast and consequently, religion is degrading.

I guess the point was how many millions of Americans think like tea baggers? We will find out

the point to the tea party
is not religous
its an amalgamation
of anti big government believers
no one in the group can speak for anyone
else in the group, yet they all agree on certain
core values
the prime being
'he who governs least, governs best'
less taxes
less gov't handouts (welfare, food stamps, bailouts etc...)
states rights
less gov't employee's
more local control, (ie let individual communities decide, not one size federal fits all)

what works in inner city Chicago does not necessarily apply to Casa Grande

the fastest growing sector of the US economy is Government
who's paying for it?
the private sector
which is being strangled with regulations by the Gov't its paying for
this can't go on

everybody wants
but forgets
you have to get it yourself
or have somebody else get it for you
we're running out of
sombody else's

Yup, sounds like Rush Limbaugh thoughts to me. Its a power grab and it is all tied together. At the last Tea party event, the Republican Glen Beck went out of his way to talk about God. Republican Palin was there too. Fruits don't fall far from tree. Knowing that, I've already stuck a fork in that movement because in reality, they have been around for over 200 years and nobody really knows what they are doing. However, Humans are great at basting in power.

Therefore, Tea Baggers are the grass roots GOP. In fact, it is GOP. We just got rid of them momentarily. Don't no one be fooled. They are retooling their facade and its going to be the same damn thing. You have heard it here first.

the Tea Party
is grass roots
sans le gop

glenn becks rally
was his, had nothing
to do with the tea party
Sarah wasn't there

the tea party is conservative
the gop is status quo
why else would so many
gop rino's be getting dumped
by the tea party

Palin was there. Source (http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/08/28/glenn-beck-restoring-honor-rally-draws-tens-of-thousands-to-na/)

Former Alaska Gov, Sarah Palin also spoke, as the "mother of a soldier;" Palin's son Track (http://politics.usnews.com/news/blogs/washington-whispers/2008/10/30/sarah-palins-son-track-stars-in-iraq) served in the U.S. Army in Iraq. But Palin, who said she felt the "spirit" of Martin Luther King Jr., did not avoid politics altogether. "We must not fundamentally transform America as some would want," she said. "We must restore America and restore her honor."

Beck is tea party too. Source (http://blog.nj.com/njv_george_berkin/2010/08/glenn_beck_rally_and_martin_lu.html)

“This is the moment,” said Beck, a cable and radio commentator and supporter of the Tea Party movement, “we reclaim the civil rights movement.”

Just like anything else, any ineffective GOP members get the boot. Nothing wrong in cleaning house. Now we get effective politicians that still don't have a clue.

Don't get me wrong cuz I like Beck. I listen to him from time to time. His gift is 'showmanship'. However, he isn't a study in social policies. And if you think about it, the same goes for Sarah as well. Both are entertainers. You would want these two on your team because they deliver. But they deliver the same Ole stuff in a different way. Sort of like putting fresh paint on an old barn...its the same old barn. :D

power corrupts! the GOP is corrupt! the democrats are corrupt beyond redemption! the tea party candidates promise smaller government but they too will become corrupt over time, if the tea party accomplishes anything worth while, it will be reminding the "people and the politicians" that GOVERNMENT WORKS FOR US, and we must vote out those that no longer represent us regardless of party, its the only way you can keep from getting the same old barn

beck and Palen are cheer leaders not candidates, Sara may become a candidate but it would be a mistake i think,

OF,
good source on the Sarah,
my bad, wasn't aware of that
as to the Glenn Beck tea party
your source is correct but it specifically
states "a supporter" not a tea party member
i will postulate that many members of the tea party
are judeo christians, this is not what defines them
it is their belief in limited government, minimal taxation
and the power of the people on a local level

good citations

how ya been?
