if anyone here is a Ayn Rand fan or a fan of the book you should check out the new movie http://netrightdaily.com/2011/04/atlas-shrugged-part-1-is-a-must-see/ i saw it opening night and thought it was pretty good, some people who are really into the book are a little disappointed, but i haven't read the book so i thought it was great for a low budget picture, if you follow US politics some of the lines in the movie could be quotes from our politicians, the parallels are amazing.

i loved the movie! it should be out on netflix soon, i had never read an Ayn Rand book before but after seeing the movie i picked up the book. it is not a high budget film but the acting was good and the political philosophy was well represented.

Ayn Rand is rubbish, suitable only for sitting around in Starbucks trying to look pretentious by reading it. Anyone who actually believes her philosophy is too fucking dumb to breathe, and should be punted back into their mothers' wombs, and then aborted.

It won't be out anytime, ever. It flopped like the megaturd that it is.

Well, Uday just saved me from reading a book I was never going to read in the first place. Cheers.

I havent read anything by Ayn Rand but have always heard mixed reviews. I have friends who love her work and friends who despise it. However, I saw the trailer for this movie a while back and was very interested in it.

Love Ayn Rand
Atlas Shrugged
is a great book
The Fountainhead
is also a good read
it was made into a
movie in the early
60's, B&W decent
for any movie made
from a book, most
are miserable failures
