What really gets me is that the primary way they fuck with your case is if you have any change. If you're taking on part-time jobs, or working for less money, in order to try and hold your own as much as possible, it allows the State to challenge your case. If, however, you just sit on your ass, and write a few addresses on a piece of paper once a month, and don't even look for a job, you can get a steady check.
My mistake was in following the rules. If I had just sat on my ass and did whatever I wanted this year, I'd be about 10 grand richer right now.
Lesson learned, anyway.
